“Буквов” is the instrumental case for “буква”. “є” can be used in Rusyn with a noun in the instrumental case as it is very often in Ukrainian. In Russian in this sentence the verb “являться” (“является 33-й буквой”) would be used instead. --Gleb Borisov 21:56, 5 фебруара 2011 (CET)

No, Rusyn hasn't lost it. You find both nominative and instrumental in the modern Rusyn-language texts.

Regarding the letter yat, Rusyn doesn't have it any more. See the Rusyn alphabet in the page 7 here. We could now remove this letter from the {{Русиньскый алфавіт}} template. --Gleb Borisov 00:39, 6 фебруара 2011 (CET)

Wikipedia can't be a source for itself, and there are no sources in that section, plus the same could be said about yat in Russian. If any usage of the yat in modern Rusyn exists than it must be very insignificant. In addition a statement about the modern usage should backed by the source. We can mention that it was used in Rusyn until 1945 though, however there were other orthographies as well where it wasn't used, since it didn't represent a distinct sound. --Gleb Borisov 01:30, 6 фебруара 2011 (CET)
